Outline of a Business Roundtable

Guidelines:

This is a PRIVATE discussion, what is discussed stays within the room amongst the participants. We would like you to speak freely, and share your real concerns, so that we may learn, grow and adapt
A presenter is ONLY provided the notes from the session, not shared across the participants by the facilitator
A presenter must initiate further conversation (ie: solicit more, versus being contacted by other participants)
We are NOT problem solving, we are asking thought provoking, thoughtful questions, brainstorming, sharing experiences, knowledge base and more
If two participants want to discuss a topic further we respectfully ask that you do NOT.

Check-In:

To normalize the group, get a sense who is in the room, and why they are here… 5 min each check in/intro and sharing of potential discussion topics (if desired).

The first piece is used as check-in: Who, Name of Business, and 5 minutes to share what is happening in their world – good, bad, ugly, beautiful, etc.

Topic Selection Down select to typically 2 – 3 topics. Use a topic shared during check-in or another topic

Opportunity: Present a problem you would value input on to provide things to consider/think about.

Topic expansion 10-15 minutes to expand, 35-45 minutes to ask thought provoking and clarifying questions, share stories, related experiences, but NOT problem solve.
